A Message Of Thanks From Debra Gindorf

For 17 years, people have been sharing their journeys with me--people on both sides of these correctional walls. Wonderful volunteers and underpaid staff from various places have reached out towards these prison barriers to create support whether it may be in the form of encouragement to financially helping me.

These loving, kind, merciful and gracious people from here in the U.S. to other countries as well have helped us so that we could establish a more dedicated, forceful and powerful committee. In addition, these generous people have cooperated, collaborated and provided the resources to sustain these efforts towards our cause. In the process, by the Grace of God I have tremendously experienced, shared and grown wisdom and mighty strength, again and again, by people both inside and outside of this prison.

I am here to give my heartfelt expression of my gratitude to all of you who have outstretched forth your hearts, shoulders and arms, to put their lives on hold for whatever time frame they may have given--to donate their time, ideas, talents and resources to the work of Kathleen Hamill and the Committee to Free Debra Gindorf, those who worked to create and make this petition project possible, to the donors who chose to financially support our cause whether it was through the means of monies or they themselves willing to donate their services for a low fee or none at all over the last year or two. . . as well as the contributions, time and efforts of volunteers, staff members, medical doctors and doctors from the mental health fields, organizations, groups and churches, tax-paying citizens, T.V. news media and newspaper reporters, correctional officers and inmates from all over who have crossed my path or touched me so much over the years. . ."THANK YOU" to each and every one of you! . . .Your contributions truly are immeasurable and invaluable!

I also express my thankfulness, gratitude and humility towards all those who have been ever so loyal, taken me in as one of their family members, for the cards, letters, photos and other surprising mail, taken their work home with them thinking of me, dedicated countless and seems like of endless and sleepless hours of thinking, researching, writing and typing, folding and licking envelopes, making tons of phone calls, emails, and running around tiresome miles . .  and so much much more. I give "THANKS" and truly am indebted to each and every one of you for much more than I could ever repay in my lifetime, nor find the right amount of words to express myself to you . . .

And so, we are journeying together in this plight (clemency petition) and await the news of the outcome. Regardless of whether I get released or not, just knowing that, because of my case, some of you have spread awareness of postpartum illnesses to others is awesome, gratifying and satisfying to me!

To the depths of my soul I am truly grateful and give thanks to my Lord Jesus Christ and Savior for your grace and mercy. The following is a quote I would like to share from Crandlemire, with which I totally agree--it describes me exactly:

"For all the heartaches and the tears,
For gloomy days and fruitless years,
I do give "Thanks" for now I know
These were the things that helped me to grow."
As for my heartfelt prayer to EVERYONE . . .

May the Lord command His "Angels" concerning you to guard you in all your ways, (Ps 91:11) For all of you have been "Angels" to me. Also, may He give you the desires of your heart and make all your plans succeed (Ps 20:4) May God richly "Bless" you as you have and done for me.

Sincerely And In Peace,

Debra Lynn Gindorf
